Discovery Chair by OfficeMaster
It sure looks different--but wait until you sit in it! The OfficeMaster Discovery back chair was designed to give users a healthy seating posture.
The most obvious unique feature of the Discovery is the shape of the backrest which permits a user's shoulder blades to travel more fully rearward when leaning back. This unique form prevents scapular impedance--aka knots in your shoulders. The cushion offers incredible back support and alignment and puts the user in a correct posture position. With slight pressure in the lower back and up the spine, the user sits more upright with shoulders forced back relieving strain. The user is in a perfect posture position and breathing is much improved.

John Hoey was no stranger to Bill Schuette when he began working at Smart Business Products in October of 2002.
John began working with Bill at Columbia Office Supply in 1994 selling office products and furniture. After Schuette's father sold Columbia Office Supply and parted ways with the new owner, John eventually left to concentrate on selling office furniture with Nolan Office Interiors.
When John returned to work with Bill in 2002, he felt as if he was coming home. John would focus his time and talent once again on office supplies and office furniture sales and was truly instrumental in the growth of Smart Business Products to its current place in the market.
"John not only brought several key accounts on board," says owner Bill Schuette of Hoey, "but he also came with a little line of furniture called Herman Miller."
Smart Business Products became the authorized Herman Miller dealer in Mid-Missouri at the same time John was hired. John was very familiar with the Herman Miller line of furniture because he sold it while at Nolan Office Interiors.
"It was only a natural fit to bring John on-we knew him and the caliber of his work and he knew Herman Miller," says Schuette.
Today, John focuses his expertise on GSA furniture and the University of Missouri. He has completed training in both Z-access and Giza design software. Many of our supply customers see John on a regular basis as well. John was instrumental in helping Smart Business Products become a GoverNet dealer, offering JWOD products and pricing thru the GSA office supply schedule.
John, a native of Jefferson City and a graduate of Helias, is a staunch Mizzou football fan and enjoys working out with his favorite athletes-his daughter Mallorie, 13 and his son Jack, 9.

Looking ahead...
Although we have just updated our pricing for the fourth quarter of 2008, the forecasts for the 1st quarter of 2009already predict some harsh increases.
In particular, Fellowes, known by many for their storage/banker's boxes will experience a substantial increase on January 1, 2009.
